For those who would like a few tech specs on the engines in the two Omex/JLH cars on the track.
Despite the power difference the Traveller looked more dramatic, probably because Travellers shouldn't get to those angles

Hats off to you guys.

Had a hoot going round in the saloon, bonkers!

Thanks to rich for the guidance and encouragment to get mine out on the track too, was something else.

Really good idea for an attraction, how many times do you get an oppotunity like that!

Im hooked now, looking out for another oppotunity to get out on the track.

Well done chaps!

Really feel I missed out
Congrats on staging such a successful attraction. I imagine, with the way of the world, the opportunities must be few and far between.
Older and more confused than I could ever imagine possible.

I like the Aston GT treatment round the grill. Is that an oil cooler below it?

I take it that you brought it back from the national still in one piece

Hi Dan,

The paintwork has yet to happen on this car. Its painted Matt grey top coat at the moment, and the Repsol orange will feature on the bonnet and a wrap around the tops of the doors and 1/4's with a gloss black roof.
I'm open to other designs, so if anyone can come up with an alternative we will consider it and if successful will apply to the car
:D
The rad below the grill is the intercooler , the oil and supercharger coolers are inside the wings. We cut temporary vents into the front panel but will cut more into the wings when we develop the car. We also need to vent the bonnet to release heat. The front wings will be fitted with our 2" oversized extentions, which will then allow us to fit the RS500 discs and AP Racing 4 pot calipers.
The car is still in one piece, but the TranX slipper diff, developed a fault which meant n/s/r drive only in right handers causing Rich to lift off and try and guage the bite point of full drive, this accounted for the two offs that he had, which rather re styled the front spoiler. Aparts from this and a fully worn set of tyres the car performed superbly for a 'just out of the box' project.
We are looking forward to Snetterton on October 5th and some real speed.
Dan, if you fitted the supercharger to your motor it will pull almost 400bhp

I think 200bhp will be more than enough to get me into trouble

Snetterton sounds good. That's the week after my wife's birthday. So that's her present sorted, a track 'experience' with Richard

Here's a pic of the saloon on the track; sorry, exposure a bit to quick for proper panning effect! Didn't get time for a trip but my son loved it and wants 400bhp in our Mog now!
Image
