back of car sway to the left

back of car sway to the left

:lol: My car use to sway to the left side when it hit a verticle hole on the road.What causes this?Plz help.thanks

Probably the bushes in the rear springs need replacing - I'd recommend using 'poly' bushes as they last much longer.

Also worth checking the U-bolts are secure as well.

You could try looking underneath when it's parked (with the handbrake on) and get someone to try pushing the back of the body around to see where the slack is, but I'd guess it's the springs' bushes.

If it 'swings' noticeably - it could be a broken spring - or rotted spring mounts - or the fitting where the spring mounts on the axle could be rotted away! It sounds dangerouse - best to get it checked and repaired as soon as possible.
