Hi guys, just been reading in the new issue of retro cars mag about a turbo mini that is whacking out over 250hp but when you read the article and look at all of the photos it seems to be the norml turbo prepped carb. But no info on how you prepae one of those carbs to flow 250hp?????
any clues?

None of that matters when it's a turbo - you just crank up the boost and fiddle with the camshaft and valve sizes etc. For that kind of power -is it running on pump petrol ? And I expect it will have water injection and massive intercooling. But i wouldn't expect the crankshaft/rods/pistons/headgasket to last more than about 15 minutes. And I'm sure the Mini transmission won't last long either!!

i urge a-series people to go out and buy the magazine, just so you dont all think i am mad and making it up!!! 
it is also running nitrous and the total hp is somewhere around the 330hp mark. Basically just wondering that if the carby can be made to deliver that much fuel/air flow on an a-series then surely it would be a good little carby for other engine applications......such as a 12a rotary engine.
