Post by polo2k »

Hi all, Does anyone have a secret stash of pics deatiling the pickup cab and chassis.
Im looking to see the overall shape and proportions and also the cab overall, cab rear, cab to chassis mountings
Basically any pre-build, during build of pickups.

Im haveing some ideas and want to take a look to check things are feasable :)

I've got hundreds, but they're all about 100 miles away. I'll see what I have here though, and have a look for you when I'm back down south. There's quite a few on my blog too

thankyou for all the help, things are looking doable.

The last time I bought a minor was 9 years ago and ive never really looked at an lcv in much depth (under the skin) but, if im looking for a pickup needing some work* then what should I expect to pay?
Im not looking for a show car as I would like to do a 'little' modifying.

*some work = condition/precence of wings/bonnet/drivetrain (possibly bed too) not important. general bodywork moderate condition, Chassis in reasonable condition
I.e. fairly rough but essentially solid.

If it's still got the original steel bed but no MOT, around £500, if with MOT but tatty around £1000-£1500. They do sometimes come up cheaper, but it would mean hunting/waiting.
