When I read the title to this thread I thought it was going to be the article from this Saturday's Telegraph. Apparently it is well nigh impossible to change the headlight bulbs on a large proportion of modern family cars. Even some of the dealer mechanics were stumped!
Older and more confused than I could ever imagine possible.

When I bought my 2005 Polo Sport, the dealer warned me about replaceing headlight bulbs. It's possible to drop the bulb into the headlight assembly, and you need to take the front off the car to retrieve the bulb :o To replace the passenger side bulb, you are meant to remove the battery first for better access. Modern cars :roll:
