Your opinion

Post by markattard »

Just been to a friend who is selling this splitty 1956 4 door mog for 500 Euro, tempted to buy it. Chassis seems quite solid, some unoriginal parts like steering indicators, glove compartments, wheels..What's your opinion?

Items like indicators and door mirros make the car more user friendly - if it's not a concours car then I'd prefer to have them. Some people can make snotty about upgrades, but fortunately they are in the minority - most people are very happy to see a SII getting used.

I'd buy it and restore it!! seen worse cars being restored! It looks like a car I've seen some years ago in St.Venera Mark. You should have used dual pricing MArk or I would have to report u to the NECC :P

Dunketh, that's our new currency , no more Maltese Lira in a month

Speaking as someone whos just had to bring this one back to life, yours looks very decent!

If it were mine, it looks ready for the MOT test if everything works...
Good luck with it :D
cheers
