for some reason i've been rather shy of posting this, but hey here goes.
i've said to a few people in private how good i think this forum is and how much i appreciate it. for me it's been probably the most important service provided by the club. i've met people, made friends, got loads of advice, both good and bad
, received some absolutely vital help, and generally felt part of a slightly bonkers community of people with similar aims to me, viz playing with minors and keeping them on the road where they belong.the forum has an unusually friendly and welcoming atmosphere, and having been involved with running other forums i know just how hard this is to achieve and maintain. it's especially hard on the moderators and admin people, and i know from experience how much energy, drive, backbone and downright determined good humour it takes, working hard in the background so as to keep a forum puttering along in the foreground, cheerfully and usefully.
so i wanted to say a huge "Cheers!!" to everyone who contributes to the forum, whether members or non-members, and above all a very big thank you to everyone involved with building it, running it and maintaining it, past and present.
