The Minor 1000's shape was significantly altered from that of the earlier cars. Many panels are different. My best advice is get a book out from the library and most of the differences will be obvious on close scrutiny.
The minor 1000 rear wings are more exaggerated and cover more of the wheelarch than on the earlier cars - plus holes for the indicator lights on all wings will be different. Also it looks like the profile may be slightly different from the series 2 wings at the front where the 'hockey sticks' are fitted.
I believe the later wings may be fitted, but they need expert alteration to look like series 2 wings. MM lowlight wings and all split screen bonnets are very different and incompatible with MM1000 items.[ This Message was edited by: Chris Morley on 21-02-2002 23:47 ]

On the same subject: Does anyone make a kit to convert a MM back to the original low-light vesion (or could i just bolt on the low-light wings)? as I need new wings anyway I'd far rather put it back the way it was. And who SELLS MM WINGS ANYWAY ? CHEERS ALL

Firstly - are you sure it was a lowlight?
