Marina Wheels

Post by Matt »

My trav has all marina running gear and is currently running on the donor marina 13" rims. Has anyone got any idea what other cars used a 4.5" PCD and a 14" rim? Im not nessesarily looking for wider, but I want something that looks standard or similar!

The only other I can think of is MGB... anyone else got any ideas?

Marina is 3.75, same as the Dolomite, surely?

Whereas MGB and Triumph 2000/ Stag are 4.5.

Montego and Maestro wheels should fit the Marina/ Dolomite PCD, as will some later Metros (Rover/ K series ones).

Sounds like you have Marina van / pick-up axle and hubs to get 4.5" pcd.

Yep,

Only the Marina commercials had the 4.5 inch stud-spacing - if you have a set of those they are quite sort after (apparently!).

I have a pair of Morris Oxford wheels (For sale if anyone is interested??)
They are 4.5 inch p.c.d and will take the standard Minor hub-cap.

Cheers

Ooow ok, that is 4" PCD

You can get Minilites in 13" 14" and 15"

Van rims are wider, but quite dear

Better to use hubs with the correct pcd in the first place!

Anyone know the PCD of Wolsey 1500 wheels, I've been offered a set which apparently look like minor wheels and are a tad wider.

Same pcd as minor - can't comment on width though.

4.5" PCD....Austin A60, Wolesley 16/60 etc, Reliant Scimiter, many Datsuns (inc 240Z 260Z ),Triumph Stag, 2000, Marina heavy weight van and pickup (ie no all commercials) and I think some of the landcrab Austins.

Rover 800 (and possibly 600) also have a 4.5" as far as I know, which most likely means Honda Prelude and Accords do too.

Rover 800 is indeed 4x114.3 mm (4x4.5")
Ditto for 600/Prelude/Accord
Mitsubishi Galant
The offset is very different I fear though
On the cars above it is between 35 and 45

For 3.75" PCD I found the MGF to have the same (offset 18-30)
