Anyone please know the sequence of buffer-washers -grommets that goes in a 2 door Moggie? maybe some kind of diagram helpful?

Put the rubber buffer on then the large washer then the nut. The rubber is there to absorb the shock so needs to be against the door.

Note that there should be two nuts so that they lock together, just one may undo itself. Depending on the model, there may be one or two rubber buffers.

There are two different lengths of door checks, could it be that two buffers were used on the longer check to make it 'shorter'
