Well, the time has come, I have given her a nice wash and polish this weekend and taken some photos ready to list her on ebay! When I have listed her I will post a link on here (and on the for sale forum) for anyone interested. I will be sad to see her go but I can't drive her anymore so it makes se...

The highlight MM & Early S11 front bumper blade was different in that the position of 2 of the bolt holes are different. Later ones will fit but you would need to make 2 extra holes in your valance - and if you fitted overiders these would then obscure the sidelights. Rog Many thanks Rog, that ...

Re: 1951 MM Tourer ... seriously thinking of selling :-(

Hi, Sorry to hear you may have to sell. In my view the price guides for MMs are rather low, and as Judge says, prices have been rising recently. Ther was a very nice tourer for sale at the National last year for £5500 , I was told, though the sign had been removed by the time I saw it so presumably...

Bumper blades - are they all the same?

I know that front and rear are different but do they fit all models? I need new ones for my 1951 MM Tourer and don't want to get the wrong ones .. they're very expensive aren't they!

Thanks,

1951 MM Tourer ... seriously thinking of selling :-(

Hello all, Due to medical reasons I've had to surrender my driving licence for a year :( and I'd pretty much decided to sell my lovely little MM Tourer anyway as I didn't get the time to give her the attention she deserves! She's a very pretty 1951 Tourer, Black, new carpets and I had the hood repla...

E-bay manuals

Well.... fingers crossed on the e-bay thing. I've placed a bid for the Australian MM manual. I had searched e-bay but hadn't used the outside of UK feature - pretty silly really. Oh well, hopefully I'll be the proud owner of said book in an hour or so!! Thanks for your help and for taking the time t...

Side-valve rebuild

Has anyone rebuilt their 918cc side-valve engine? Mine has given up the ghost and after weeks of searching I cannot find a recon 918cc anywhere. So the diagnosis by my faithful mechanic is that he will rebuild it for me - but he needs the relevant torque settings, can anyone help me? Pleeeeeese!!! :...
