I took the push out and cleaned the contacts, plus the copper strip on the columb,

dont cover it, a good wax polish will protect it more,

some form of steering lock is advised, and a tracker (just in case)
I find the local kids like old cars so will keep an eye on it,

edit, so it looks like I wont get a seal retainer to fit, (the engine was built for the previous owner) would a speedy sleeve work with the "improved" seal kit?
until this is sorted I cant take the car far to go to any local or national meetings.

finally got time to add a vent from rocker cover to air filter, been out a few times over last few days, it looks like I have lost about a pint in 40 miles, no trail of oil under car as before, haw hard is it to swap the rear crankseal to the old scroll type, I can pull the engine rather than drop t...

after going clayshooting the other week, we called at a pub we knew, its under new management,

they had about 7 or 8 ciders, (fruit included,) and a similar number of lagers,
BUT NO BITTER??????

they offered 3 types of pale ale,
