just fitted a morris marina disc brake conversionto my 69 saloon . I removed the master cylinder ,refitted a new seal kit and deleted the cup from the kit as per instructions. Refitted everything bleed the brakes. I then set the pedal clearance up . Road teasted in the yard all ok. Went for a road ...

Disk brake conversion
Just fitting a disc brake conversion to a 1969 1098 i am going to remove the master cylinder fit a new seal kit and carry out the modification at the same time. Is the remote resivoier really needed or does it need the extra fluid .

Just putting the bonnet release rod back in does the tab that holds the spring on just jam at a angle onto the rod and were does the spring attach to on the body.

Oil filter housing and switch
I have a 1969 1098 minor and noticed on the engine wiring loom there is a spare wire that is for the oil filter switch if it becomes blocked. My filter housing hasn't got the switch can one be fitted drilled and taped if so what is the part number for the switch.

Timing chain swop
Just fitted a new timing chain kit to a 1098. All good chain pulleys lined up with shims on the crank and timing marks lined up . Turned engine over distributor firing on no1 and valves on 1and 4 rocking. Is itcright that the pully timing marks are now 180
