help needed identifying 1275 engine

Hi all
Hope some one can help?
Was looking to upgrade to a 1275 a series engine
i think ive Seen a couple at a auto jumble at weekend just bare engine
Are there any marks on engine so that I can identify which donor engine is best?

how do you fit a brake servo

Hi all Hope some one can help me by pointing me in the right direction Have just got hold of a second hand Lockheed brake servo unit but no fitting instruction was thinking of fitting servo in front engine bay and will also be fitting marina discs at same time would like servo to work front and rear...

will be fitting marina discs to front and the pcd of hubs are 4.5 inch would it be better to send hubs to esm and have them machined to minor pcd?

does anyone no what other wheels apart from marina commercial will fit the 4.5 inch pcd as i have just puchased a set and was thinking about having the stud pcd done by esm or do i hold onto them as they are?

what gauge steel with mig welder

hi all please can any one help i will be using a mig welder with 0.6mm or 0.8mm wire i need to do a small repair to the front o/s inner wheel arch down by the bottom of the door and have been told they is no repair panel avallable. and to weld a plate in so the Question is what thickness plate to us...
