Hung the rear timber doors on my traveller gaps really good started fitting the hollow triangular shaped weather strip fitted top and bottom everything ok fitted the sides when I came to close the doors the seal had pushed both doors towards the centre so unable to close doors . Ready to fit the roof all the woodwork fixed . I believe originally the foremost rear roof spar is fixed to the ally top using nails if you do this how do you fix that spar to the frame do you just use tiger seal to fix the roof to the spar Also to get the rubber seal around the contours of the roof...

Top hole of hinge in door vertically down 4 1/4 ( four and one quarter inch ) to centre of top hole
Bottom hole of hinge in door vertically up 6 3/8 ( six and three eighths inches) to centre of bottom hole

Thanks for your reply I bought the car as a bag of bits it came with a partial fitting kit I think from Charles ware I have changed all the fittings and purchased marine grade s/s coach bolts and I am using dome headed s/s nuts on the outside of the hinges I think this looks much better

I am in the process of fitting the timber frame on my traveller was going to use stainless steel coach bolts what size would I need for the rear posts and rear valance thanks

I am about to fit the timber frame to the car do you need to put a seal between the b post and the wood frame I had a look at a couple of travellers one had a black mastic type seal the other nothing

Yes a good idea regarding the new wiring looms but not all connections are good this is my third loom on three different moggies and I find the bulb holders in the speedo not nearly as good as the old ones

Thanks for all your suggestions I have been on the website and had a good look at all the suppliers but I still can’t get the seal in green the jaguar supplier is the nearest but without seeing it in the “flesh” difficult to tell if it would be ok . The seal is at this stage of the rebuild not top p...
