Re: vibration

I did a drawing for a prototype using standard vibration mounts. The only problem I have with this design is how to fit the locating pin. If it works it is a cheap way of doing it. These mounts which have just arrived this afternoon cost about 1.5 GBP each but I am concerned with the resistance to ...

Ignition switch problem?

I've been enjoying a great weekend driving everywhere with no problems, brakes sorted, with no top hat in the MC. Got back home, and turned off the engine to open the garage door. Got back in, and turned the ignition switch, but I could not start the engine. No warning lights came on.Checked the fus...

bmcecosse,

..looking at a drawing of the mc, what is the top hat seal and why should it be removed?
Do you also mean the pedal return spring?

Re: Front brakes binding

Dear All, I have a similar problem with the disk brakes binding. It only happens occasionally. I have checked the rear shoes and front disks and they seem to be ok. When it happens the brake pedal cannot be pushed. The brakes suddenly release and everything is OK. Any advice would be really apprecia...
