I've been enjoying a great weekend driving everywhere with no problems, brakes sorted, with no top hat in the MC.
Got back home, and turned off the engine to open the garage door. Got back in, and turned the ignition switch, but I could not start the engine. No warning lights came on.Checked the fuses all ok. The headlights are working.
Its is a new wiring harness, so I don't believe I have an issue with corrosion.
Any advise as to where I start to look..?
Cheers,
Andy

Re: Ignition switch problem?
Loose connection - disconnect the battery while you investigate! Fuses play no part in starting or running the engine..... Start tracing the wiring from the Regulator to the Ign switch and then on from there.

Re: Ignition switch problem?
As above, check battery and earth lead connections
If no power to lights then problem is as above as the light circuit is not fused
If lights work but no power to starter motor check starter motor terminal.
Check gearbox is in neutral with handbrake on
Connect jump lead to live battery terminal and flash against starter terminal, this will bypass starter solenoid
