Brake Master cylinder
Hi Everyone, I want to ask some advice if I may. I noticed today some brake fluid under my 'Moggy' and on inspection it appeared to be coming from the chamber where the master cylinder is situated. I took the cover off the chamber and there was a significant amount of brake fluid in the bottom of th...

Ah !
Actually the previous owner has installed an in line fuel filter between the fuel pump and the carb. I was wondering if that may cause problems, but not sure how

Engine 'Died'
Hi Everyone, I went for a run in 'Mable' yesterday and after about ten mile the engine suddenly died on me , on a dual carriage way when I was doing about sixty. The engine seemed to splutter a bit and then cut out. When I pulled over I immediatley tried to start her up which she did first time and ...

Re: Track rod end/Ball Joint
Hi
I think we might be talking at crossed purposes here.. I'm talking about the lock nut on the track rod behind the ball joint.
Can't free the joint to remove from the rod. I have split the ball joint already
Cheers
Chris

I did adjust the brakes a few weeks ago. Should I have disconnected the handbrake before I adjusted them, Don't know if that sounds daft

Warm Hub Cap on Rear Off Side
Hi Everyone,
I went for a run today, about 30 miles and when I got out of the car I noticed that the rear off side hub cap was warm to touch. Has anyone one any ideas as to what I should be checking.
I assume that it might be a sticking brake or rear bearing. How should I check
Cheers

MG Midget Alloy Wheels
Hi,
Does anyone know if a set of 13" alloy wheels (minilite type) off an MG Midget will fit a 1967 Minor.
If anyone has fitted them at any time I would be grateful for any imfo.
Best Regards

Re: Exhaust to manifold
Hi
I had a similar problem but I placed/wrapped the joint with some metallic heatproof tape then fitted the clamp.
I also tried tinfoil in a similar way and it worked successfully but with the heatproof tape it seems to be a more secure joint

alloy wheels
Hi everyone, I'm thinking of putting a set of alloy wheels on my minor. Does anyone know what type/size fit. I was thinking of 14". As that's the size of steel on the car st the moment and also do I require spacers as I have the standard drum brakes on my 1967 minor The last question is would I...
