I'm not used to driving cars like the minor and treat it gently,used to have a Carlos Sainz twin turbo 4 wheel drive this was built to drive. This i enjoyed but the Minor is not in my view built to do this but will take it out tomorrow and put my foot down.

Looking to put a 1.5 su carb with the correct manifold on my 1969 minor,can I fit this to the same exhaust pipe that is there now (presently the standard exhaust)?
Or is it better to save my pocket money and buy a larger exhaust pipe?

The car does not go out in the wet or cold but could do with the heater working to some degree. Makes sense as it does not work on the green wire that was cut,as Mike said any green wire will do so have found a live supply and will use that.

Had it going on the bench this afternoon so start putting it back together and rewire.

It's only to gave the water system a good clean out but having had a go I was concerned that it has been rusted in since 1969. So if I change the heater hose,clean the heater and drop in a dishwasher tablet this may do? If so I'm more then happy as it's freezing in the garage. I use a 18mm socket on...
