Wiper wheel box compatibility
I have a 1969 Traveller. I am not sure what type of replacement wiper wheel box I need to order. The wiper wheel boxes currently fitted have a black plastic(?) Spacer sleeve that sits below the surface. (in addition to the chrome finisher that sits above the surface and directly below the nut that h...

Declaration of exemption from MOT. Form V112.
The V5C for my 1969 Traveller shows the taxation class as Historic Vehicle. It was ‘Taxed’ until 30 June 2018. It’s MOT expires on 25 May 2018. To take advantage of the new MOT exemption coming into force from 20 May 2018 I submitted an online SORN on 22 May 2018 with the intention of re taxing it t...

Steering Wheel Interchangable???
I rather like the three spoke Morris Minor steering wheel. Can I replace the two spoke steering wheel in my 1969 traveller with an earlier three spoke type? If it is possible are any modifications required and is the horn push interchangeable?
Thanks. Steve.
Thanks. Steve.

Hi Dave. We would be very pleased if you joined us for the trip to the beautiful Isle of Man. This often forgotten gem has so much to offer in the way of stunning scenery, when we are ambling along in our Moggies and reaching hidden bays like Niarbyl Bay, Glen Maye, and spotting wildlife such as sea...

5-Day trip to the Isle of Man Easter weekend 2012.
Members are very warmly invited to join Malcolm Richings (Minor Convertible), myself Steve Ellis (Minor Traveller), and our good ladies on an expedition to the Isle of Man. I spent 5 days there this summer on a similar jaunt and can tell you the roads are just perfect for Minors. The voyage on the f...

Glass window suppliers?
I am not having much luck trying to source the front glass section for the o/s rear side window of my traveller. (the existing window is very badly scratched). I was wondering if any members know of any specialist suppliers of windows for classic cars? Thanks.

Rattle behind Speedo
My 1969 Morris Traveller has suddenly developed a rather annoying rattle that appears to be coming from behind the Speedo. It comes and goes according to engine revs (vibration) when moving but is not influenced by road speed. I have ensured the Speedo is properly located and tightened the securing ...

Quietest exhaust
My 1969 Traveller has a developed an annoying rattle that sounds like a small loose piece of metal in the silencer. It can be heard when the engine is running; it think is due to vibration. If I give the silencer a knock with my hand (engine not running) I can again hear what sounds to be a lose pie...

Chrome bonnet lift handle
My 1969 Traveller has a chrome bonnet lift handle that is all chrome, ie no red background to the ‘M’ emblem on each side of the handle. Can anyone tell me where I can obtain a new or good condition chrome bonnet lift handle that has the correct red background to the 'M’ emblem?

Re: Traveller side window glass replacement.
Thanks for your advice Kevin. I think I may need to replace the window which is quite badly scratched towards the bottom, it looks like it my have been caused by sandpaper by a previous keeper when sanding the wood frame. I assume refitting is the opposite of removal, with fresh dum dum applied?
