Glass window suppliers?

Post by steve.ellis »

I am not having much luck trying to source the front glass section for the o/s rear side window of my traveller. (the existing window is very badly scratched). I was wondering if any members know of any specialist suppliers of windows for classic cars? Thanks.

Have you seen this on ebay? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/drivers-rear- ... 3f0389d880

Or post an ad here in the 'wanted' forum.

It's flat glass - any autoglass place will be able to cut you a piece!

if they cut laminated glass it may be too thick as I think the original glass was toughened but you can have glass cut to size edges polished and then toughened but would probably cost more than good secondhand
