Chrome door strip to bonnet plus grille
Hey all, I've seen in some pics of moggy's over the net that some seem to sport a chrome door strip and bonnet strip does anyone know if someone makes these as over covers or direct replacements etc. Also the same goes for the grille, does anyone do the chrome ones or is it a trip to the platers. Diff identifying
Hi is there any serial numbers etc that identifies the moggy diffs as to what they are. We got two diffs with our purchase but don't know what they are. the engines were 948 and a 1098.
Any ideas or advice please cheers.

Wurth do a spot weld drill bit thats a little pricey but lasts an age and is great at its job. Thin scraper type tool is good to hunt spot welds, slide it inbetween the panels in question, gently tap along untill it hits the next spot weld. Massive costs I think. Mind you when I was an aprentice I kinda had the similar effect from my gun ha ha. Red Oxide is ok so long as you get the right one, don't skimp on money and don't use synthetic. If possible, and this is a bit naughty, keep eye out for some old lead based red oxide, best is always the oldest. You may want to be very careful spraying it though. A word of warning on poly's though, the colours do state a different density. Now see if I get this right.... yellow is the softest then followed by purple, red is harder again but the hardest of all is the black.
