Hi folks
I have decided to take the plunge, and rebuild the old engine from my old 4-door. It seems only right to keep the original engine with the car. To this end, I have just bought a pair of camshafts (hmmm twin cam maybe??) with part numbers AEA630. They have twin rings on them, and look like the 1098 cam on the ESM website. Can any kind person out there confirm if they are suitable for the 1098?
Thanks
Dom

Thanks for that bm. Much appreciated. I have now unwrapped them from the original greasy paper, found a very small amount of rust spotting in a couple of areas, mainly on a bearing surface. Do you reckon this would cause any problems if carefully cleaned up?
