Wiring loom for 1963 4 door

I have just removed the wiring from my 63 4 door, and found significant damage to the wires begind the dash. I am planning to replace it with a new loom, however I am not keen to replace it as original. The car is an early 1098, with pull start, and original flashing brake lights and white front side lights. It was modified over 20 years ago to have flashing orange repeaters, but retained the original front lights.

i would like to keep this configuration, however the original loom needs additional witing for this to happen. I would prefer not to get a loom ready for a direction indicator relay unit, but instead have it prewired for flashing rear lamps.

Any advice? Is it the case of getting the latter wiring loom?

Not too helpful, but if you do add on to the wiring, try to follow the original colour code. I've just spent 2 days out in the cold trying to sort out the work of someone who didn't...

You could give Autosparks a ring (don't have their number at home) We use them a lot for special or one off looms, as you can buy the loom bare, add the wiring you need send it back and they will braid it up for you. Better still just tell them what you want and recieve it through the post. Prices are very competitive.

I can highly recommend the quality of my loom which I suspect was from Autosparks. I have extra wires coming out of every orofice as I'd planned on:

Boot courtessy light
MP3 player and radio (seperate power)
Two 12v Acc points
Front and rear heated windows
Electric windows
And a few other fun things :)

Anyway - the loom is top notch! :)
