gearbox mountings

Joemogs gearbox is touching the crossmember. I would guess the mountings are shot but do they adjust up/down? Is there a easier way to replace them?

Unfortunately no adjustment - they'll need replacement.
If the gearbox floor comes out easily, then it makes the job much more pleasant.

It's still pretty unpleasant though - the nuts can be awkward to get at :-(

Cheers guys! That's undoubtedly where Joe's reverse judder comes from. The torque through the transmission will try to raise the gearbox going forwards and lower it in reverse. That would probabably be enough for it to make contact with the cross member! :D
