Interior light swithches

Does anyone know how to get these out? I think moisture has got into mine as whenever it rains the interior light comes on whether i want to or not! :x

Unscrew them with a large philips head screwdriver.
Push the centre pin in all the way with the tip of the screwdriver, then it'll fit into position.

Spray a bit of Plus Gas or similar around the pin & ease it in slowly if you're trying to save the switch.

Will do, ill try the passenger side first as that knackered already, so i can 'cut my teeth' so to speak

sounds like u might want a drain hole and waxoyl in your A post mate, so your car stays in good nick

Anyone know how to retrieve the wire that used to be connected to the switch once you've taken the switch out and found it's not connected to anything?

either by magic, or by removing the glovebox and finding the wire where it goes into the A-post. You can re-route then using bent wire coat-hanger or similar bodge.

Incidentally; are those little light (door) switches still available, I couldn't see them in the online catalogue? I'm sure they're there and I'm being dozy... but....
