Illness keeping you out of the garage?

If a cold is keeping you away from those important jobs, fear not, try my cold beating drink.
Mix soluble paracetamol into a little lime cordial (vitamin C!!) and add boiling water. Mix in a table spoon (or more) of honey to soothe the throat. Then add a little sudafed to unblock the nose and just a splash of whiskey as an anasthetic! (only a little mind theres paracetamol in there).
End of sales pitch

Nice one! Sounds like my dad's Lodnum (as he calls it) except he uses orange juice instead of lime and no sudafed.
Good advice.

Well before the 80s!!! Certainly before the early / mid 70s as I was in the cubs then and we didn't use it, unless it changed at different times in different places.
And incidentally, it's spelled Dyb! (Do Your Best, Dob was Do Our Best)

Well... that sparks a memory from the early 80s when I was in the cubs. We used to get told 'Do Your Best' then we all used to reply 'We Will Do Our Best'. Ahhh memories...

I am waiting for someone to start moaning about this theme not being Moggy related

21 years I was a scout leader/venture scout leader. You don't even get that long for murder.
