When should we hold the Bristol 2006 Website rally?

Here's the choices of dates for the website rally for the spring. Let me know when you want it to be!
There's three dates. The first one co-incides with the re-illumination of the Clifton Suspension bridge.
As requested, all of the dates are on a SATURDAY!

I don't mind - but I suspect the Brunel day, though it would be nice, would be a mad day to do any driving round town (I suspect the council have got shedloads planned).

We'll need to think about parking too - I don't think there will be anywhere on a Saturday anyway

but on Brunel day...

Sorry but the dates are to early for me, and also as Andrew mentioned Saturdays are terrible for parking.

The first date is also only a week after London to Brighton, it might be nice to have a week or two off.

April 22nd does it for me, not too near the national, and not on a busy day like Brunel's day

The 22nd sounds good... We need to let them know asap.

Will you be flying direct to Bristol Onne?
I remember seeing the Clifton suspension bridge lit up years ago - it looked wonderful. However the sun will set in Bristol at 20.19 BST on 22/4 so I doubt that many people will hang around to see it. Unless of course we make it an afternoon event and then go for something to eat before sunset?

One advantage to this idea is that the Motorways are usually empty on Saturday nights.

It's REALLY odd reading all the people who weren't raised in Bristol complimenting the bridge. It's like hearing a Londoner praise Tower Bridge - very nice to hear, just rather bizarre

Can't do either of the April dates as I'm going away for 2 weeks. May please!

And yes I will be flying to Bristol International Airport this time, saving roughly £100 on the train. Even the flight tickets to Bristol is cheaper than to Luton.
But back to the Rally! April 22nd is the best as far as I'm concerned. My parents are celebrating their 25th anniversery around May 20th

Okay guys and girls... 22nd it is! I'll give the Industrial Museam a ring!

P.S. Planning evening food is a great idea

- and Onne - we can pick you up from the airport I think but it'll either be sleeping on someone's floor this end or a hotel

I don't mind floors. Could bring me tent and the long underwear
