Thanks very much for advice on the hydrolic clutch. We got a master cylinder from Birmingham M M Centre. After some thought we fitted it into the gearbox cross member. We then used the redundant lever rod from the clutch actuating arm joined it onto the new output rod on the master cylinder with a seconhand threaded part of the engine stableiser rod. The rod then fitted into the existing clutch pedal hole it all lined up perfect and works well. Please note the brake pipe out of the side of the master cylinder was removed when we fitted a brake servo as this would have been in the way. We used a BMW 1990 E30 clutch fluid bottle £3.80p new nice and small and compact.
We kept the old 1098 back axle because the car has alloy wheels with ford stud pattern. Can you fit the marina diff into the moggy back axle using the moggy halfshafts.

The Marina Diff wont fit as its a Triumph design, but you can fit the whole axle, not sure about stud changes on the axle though.
