Hi all you moggy men ,mungo a '56 splitty has a green oil dash light and at the moment the car is pos' earth if I change to neg' earth will the green light still work ok.

Shouldn't be a problem! I have never had any problems when changing to negative earth, but if anyone else has then feel free to challenge that!

No problem, the light is controlled by a simple pressure operated switch which is not polarity sensitive.
