Morris Minor Owners Club

is a pump priblem electrical or mechanical ? . My pump stopped working so I cleaned the points and it clicked merrily but would not pump fuel . I fitted another spare and that is the same . I tried both on the bench with a fuel pipe into a tin of petrol but no fuel . There are no air leaks that I can find so there am I going wrong ? Do the valves in the bottom of the pump give trouble?

Yes - clean the valves in petrol.
