been threatning to get one of these for the last year ,got it today, look at the rust spots either side of where ive blasted, all the money and time on rust killers when a zap with this gun would have done it in seconds , still ,ill know next time
ello andrew, yes mate they do go thru some ally oxide, but i have a cunning plan!! , got an ally tray from work, big enough to fit a wing or door in, just needs some brainpower to fettle , so ill be asking soon
Did the blaster come with an assortment of rubber ends, for corners flats and the like. We use these as they are great for small areas and much more effective than wire brushes ans rust converters. Must admit we use kiln dried sand, which is okay if you use the correct face mask. If you use the blaster on an inclined panel then this will cut down the amount of mess. Good luck with your new toy!!
Nice tip Steve, this looks like the ideal tool for dealing with the localised rust bubbles starting to appear under my rear screen (the lip of the roof panel).
Chris,
I,ve got the same problem. Rear screen seal was leaking and water got between the roof / boot surround panel. Tried allsorts to get rid of it, but it keeps coming back. Even thought about trying to run Kurust or simmilar in from top [same path as water]
