Can any onr tell me if this would this fit on my 1098 engine?

It's for a small bore A series, so the answer's yes, it will fit on. Whether it'll do any good, I'll leave to the engine experts - I'd guess so!

It looks very nice indeed ! If it was anywhere near me I would be bidding for it - but the postage makes it uneconomic. There was another head just the other day - on ebay - not as good as this, and it made fantastic (ie crazy) money.
Edit - just looked back at that one - it sold for £261 !!!!!! Way over the top .

It's not the valves you should be looking at - it's the work in the throats - and at the port junction - and the chambers look nicely shaped too. I have asked about chamber size - to see what the CR will be.

Still, it has shiney valves.

You most definitely should be looking at the valves. The biggest restriction on any A-Series head is at the valve face.

They certainly are shiny! Price is climbing and I bet it gets a few bob more coz of it's shinyness.

I can't believe the price this head is fetching ! Way too high for a small bore head.
