I seem to remember a request by Editor for a photo of a kit to be included in the forthcoming Members Handbook. If you can hang on until January you might have your answer.

There are two (one lengthy) previous topics I've found about what spares to carry. I've placed these in the 'useful tips' section as they contain much worthwhile advice. I would make a cup of tea and sit down to read them... :D

simmitc - just found the request by the editor on line in the general discussion section.
Apparently no one manage to get a picture of it all but the list is there.

Chris - thanks for the pointer to the topics in 'useful tips'. good break from studies. :)

Fan belt, accelerator cable with spare 'end', fuel pump, fuel hose(flexi), distributor (complete with cap and leads), coil, points, condenser, rotor arm, rad hoses (including the daft bypass hose) and hose clips, head gasket, cylinder head, inner tube, light bulbs, fuses, electric wire and various crimp connectors. And of course consumables - petrol, water, oil, brake fluid.
That's what I carry!
