Reluctant trafficators
The trafficators on my 54 series II are reluctant to come up. If I give them a bit of a push they will come up, but not on their own. Do they just need a good clean and oiling, if so how and what do I clean? If not what else could be wrong?

this can also be related to corroded connectors in the wiring, poor earths and a poor connection at the switch.
If you try the trafficator on its own (hotwired to a good battery) this will help to narrow down (or rule out) problems with the wiring.
