Can anyone tell me what diameter the original Steering wheel on a '54 splitscreen would have been?
I've got a small diameter one on there at the mo (bought with it) and its a right Bug**r to turn at slow speeds. I want to put a Moto-Lita one in a larger diameter on.
Cheers
Grant

Ahh but it simply HAS to be a specific one....... women eh???? (out of interest - do you know which one it is your pal is selling?)jonathon wrote:I'd try either a 15" or 15,1/2" diameter steering wheel. I know someone selling a wooden Motolita wheel and we have a 15" leather covered one available. PM me for details.
LOL
Actually I don't think Clare can really have the one she wants as she likes the 4 spoke one, but the top spoke will obscure the dash too much (in my hunble opinion....)
