What daring and wakey ideas have you had to paint your cars but never had the guts? Or have you and got some pics to share?!!?!?

I want to paint the 54 in a Mad-Max stylee - matt black complete with shotgun cartridges, shotgun holster etc...
Fortunately / unfortunately the matt black isn't practical in the desert!

Oh yes mate, I'm down with that! Excellent!!

Might be an age/era thing, but I loved Mad Max!!
My mate (who's into VWs) had an idea about bare metalling the car and leaving it in the rain for a while so it developed surface rust and then completely drying the car and just painting with lacquer so that it looked rusty! He never did it though...

Guy's always muttering about doing something bizzare with his car. Those arty types are always looking to do something different
He even painted flowers on his bike once...

Don't believe a word of it - I did it with a permanent marker... it was at a custom show and the bloke parked next to me moved his bike when he saw me doing it... dunno why. I always fancied something done in ISOFLEX rubber roofing paint. An artex vehicle would be groovy too...

Groovy but heavy. rubbr roofing paint seems like a laugh, until you want to take it of.

I would just settle for being able to paint my car its original colours and get a consistently good finish without lots of wet colour sanding!
Not much of a graphic artist, although I might do a hot rod minor one day with flames.

Hi,
I had a big set of scary sharks teeth and eyes painted over the front of my moggy at one time, bit like the Flying Tigers emblem. Stretched from the side of the bonnet right over the front grille, it was very noticeable. Sadly it is no more, maybe in the future I might put it back......
I have picys but no way of posting them.
Regards,
Wal
