Re the new bright format

Re the new Bright format there seems to be a problem in that
I have just posted an item and a smiley has appeared instead of
'close brackets'.

Yep, for me too - it's when you type 'eight close brackets' which is one of the standard 'smiley codes'.

It's always done that. I have to regularly edit my posts and put a space in after the 8.

I've not been on much this week so didn't see too much of the white glare (I can't sit in front of the puter as it makes my back hurt more!).

If your back hurts that much then you'd better get back out to the car before you do it serious damage in front of the 'puter!
Of course you've got a swanky roller so you don't have neck ache like I do at the moment.
This is a hobby??
