Coachline

Post by Cam »

Any idea what the proper paint codes are for the correct colour coachlines? or failing that a supplier of the correct paint?

In my reference books, it's only listed as 'red' (for a Dove Grey car) but as we know there are dozens of red shades.

Any ideas?

Not the "correct" shade , but Red and blue "plastikote" enamel paints from Hellfrauds did a reasonable job on revitalising the bonnet badge. The bull is now red and the water blue.

With a steady hand or the Frost pinstriping tool, the red enamel would be close enough, I should imagine.

Thats what I'm going to do when I've run out of things to do on the Trav.
Cheers John - all comments IMHO
