Indicator light unit

Post by newmoggy »

Ok ive finally finished sorting the lights on my new mog, ive fitted original rear lights & the optional round indicators in the rear wings, so no need for relays.

Trouble is now i have only got one decent flush fit lamp holder for the orginal style fromt sidelight/indiactor.

Does anyone have an orginal 1961 - 1963 sidelight/flasher lamp unit that they want to flog? Also 2x orginal style flat white lenses?

Cheers

The L488 lamps can be bought new from most Moggy parts suppliers. They also come up on eBay quite regularly.

These are the lamps you are taking about:

Well, it someone's personal colection actually, and I got these two really nice working trafficators for about £30, and there isn't a scratch on them!

If you want the lenses, just give us a shout, £10 incl postage, thats about what they cost me. Sadly, I didn't find what I was looking for, a bootlid for the MM.

actually was a jolly expensive set of six lenses and a pair of traffies.
100 miles just for that...

Sounds like a good deal :D

It came off a lowlight and is pretty mint (well it was a couple of years ago when I put it in the attic/loft).

You see, I did not want it to go to just anyone.

Bull Motif seemed to do the best deal on them (which I found out after buying them from SVC )

I was planning on going to the MM today Cam, but it wasn't there. They moved it somewhere else for the weekend, I hope to make some pictures of the wings next week
