oil light

Post by Willie »

The oil pressure light should have a GREEN wire on one side(this is
12v) and the other side should be GREEN/YELLOW which goes to the
oil pressure switch(behind the distributor). Normally, with the ignition ON
the oil light should illuminate if you touch the GREEN/YELLOW wire
to chassis. What colour are your wires?? When you say the light works
if you apply a feed to the switch do you mean a 12v feed or a chassis
feed? This item should be under 'ELECTRICAL' not 'PROBLEMS'.

You write to the DVLA, explain that you are the owner wishing to learn it's history and enclose a cheque for £5.
