HI!
i'm quite new in the moggy's world as i just bought my first one a few weeks back... she is a 1968 green number but a bit rusty.
the bottom of both doors is gone as well as the attachment door-main body of the passenger door.
i have the replacement panels but wonder what sort of price i should be ready to pay for for the work. my morris will never be a show winner so i can go to any mechanic really as soon as quite cheap.
i leave in south london so if anyone could recommend one, that be great!
thanks!!

there are a few second hand doors around for 2 doors, also you can buy new door skins for a 2 door, not for a 4 door though , and 4 door doors are the hardest to come buy.

sounds a bit of work, and i guess would not be cheap in and around london

Hello Julien,

that sort of work is not normally what mechanics are capable of, look for a Classic Car restorer or an old style body repair shop. I'm not so sure that many modern body shops will tackle that sort of work these days.

I'm really surprised that modern mechanics and bodyshops can't do this as I'm doing exactly this repair to the original passengerside door on my Traveller. The repair panel is available, so its not that hard.
