Missing light bulb

I've spotted that the green "online" light bulb beside posts has vanished as well. Is this deliberate or a small bug to be resolved?

The current system in place is slightly different from the old system (with the bulbs etc). This was changed over after the last time we were hacked and certain files were deleted.

That, presumably, is also why if you accidentally click 'submit' twice, you're told that it's too soon after your last post and to try again later - or has that always happened?

That's pretty much always happened. It means, like you say, that you have posted and are trying to post again. Some folks then hit 'back' and 'submit' again and end up posting twice. If you do this, then click the little 'X' in the box in the corner of the window your post is in and it will delete it.
