bearings supplier recommendations...?

Hi all,
Yesterday was another day I'd describe as 'not good' as now my Honda is broken (that's 4 cars insured, 3 with MOT, all off the road and I'm still on a pushbike...)

Someone recommended a supplier for roller bearings - I need a new bearing in the Honda distributor (roughly 10mm I/D and 25 O/D) so I am hoping to get one by ordering the correct size.
Any tips anyone?

[ps - sorry, I know it's not strictly Minor related, but I need atleast 1 car fixed so I can collect Minor parts ;) ]

Ray,

Try Gem bearings on the Woodloes estate in Warwick. I use them for my disc brakes and can safely say that they offer an excellent affordable service. :D

Hello Ray,

you should be able to identify the bearing from the reference marked on it (unless it's totally destroyed), then just quote that at the bearing supplier of your choice.

Bearing Services - or RS Components for the standard items.

Cheers for all your help folks. Unfortunately the bearing was a strange size which nobody had in stock and the manufacturer (Nachi) is on back order.
Gem were extremely good at calling me back and extremely helpful trying to get the bearing. I used them for a different bearing in the end (I had to get the shaft sleeved to take a different size). It's done and back together today :D thanks to my mate Steve who works in a machineshop and who will be getting lots of beer tonight.

If anyone wants bearings, transmission parts, motors rewound etc.. then I'd recommend Gem in Warwick.
