11 plate battery in a Morris?

G'day All,

My nine plate battery has effectively died, and I've replaced it with an eleven plate which I had lying around.

It cranks a lot faster than before, and the amp gauge settles to show a charge of between 5-7 amps.

Car is a 948cc fitted with a Bosch internal regulator alternator.

Any potential problems? Particularly, will it hurt the starter?
