Hung the rear timber doors on my traveller gaps really good started fitting the hollow triangular shaped weather strip fitted top and bottom everything ok fitted the sides when I came to close the doors the seal had pushed both doors towards the centre so unable to close doors . It looks to me like a smaller seal will be required for the sides has anyone else come across this problem if so what did you do . Thanks

I have just re-fitted the weather strip around the door frame on my Traveller. The doors are old and warped. It is a pig of a job to get perfect, then the wood shrinks or swells and everything goes to pot. In 46 years of ownership, two replacement wood frames and lots of work, I can't remember having doors that close easely. If you remove wood the doors will become loose. If you fit smaller seals the rain will get in. If only Everest did PVC Traveller frames. Sorry if I sound negative, but this is just one of the many joys of owning a Traveller. Good luck my friend.
