Diaphragm clutch on a Minor? Does it work?

Hi,

Many times I had struggled with the Borg&Beck clutch in my Traveller especially if quality is concerned.
So I looked for a diaphragm clutch.
My Traveller carrys a 1275 Marina engine and a Ford T9 gearbox. The kit for the gearbox came with a 190mm disc. To use this disc I found a LUK clutch 83BB7563BA which is used in FORD vehicles. The original Marina flywheel must be redrilled to take the LUK clutch and a new holder for the clutch release fork must be made. As the whole clutch/flywheel system is not as high as that of the Borg&Beck type the axis of the release fork needs to be ~25mm closer to the clutch.
That’s it, it works.
