Far too modern a device to consider fitting.... I actually had to look up what you were referring to..

John,
Is that bung brazed in? Any possibility of it becoming un-soldered from exhaust heat?
What manifold is that and what carb are you using?
I have a 1275 struggling to breathe through a single HS2. I figure I need two of them or a HS4 or 6. I’ve got some parts on order to try to improve the situation. The exhaust is probably the tricky part.
What else is involved with your setup?
Thanks,
Bill B

Yeah, and a pity it doesn't mean that the car runs on fresh air!

Used to have a Lotus Elan with EFI, Megasquirt, WBO2 etc
Bung welded in , at the moment HIF44 on seperate inlet and exhaust manifolds ( just cut them apart ) , the exhaust I am using is the standard MM one ( albeit stainless ).

Thank you John,
So is that a 1098 manifold? I wasn’t aware that there was a stainless version. Ive only ever seen cast iron. I have a Minispares Torquemaster intake manifold on order from Ol Phartz Parts and an HS6 that I think is rebuildable. I don’t know what it was from or what needle is in it.
Am I correct in thinking I need about a 1-1/2” exhaust pipe and silencer. I was told by Steve to look for a 1098 exhaust manifold because the Sprite 1275 manifold is tall and angled the wrong way.

Welding cast iron is not easy, well done with the success.

The Ex manifold was the largest standard one I could find ( cheap) maybe Ital? .. Not stainless, just cast and polished out the weld . The exhaust system is a " standard " stainless system.
