Morris 1000 Convertible, 948cc, 1959, Old English White. I believe it is a genuine factory convertible. I bought it in 2013 as an unfinished project, which I completed, but am no longer using it. Please email for a link to around 30 photos in a Google Photos album and you will see the odd non-originality and imperfections.
If you want a state of the art, keep up with the traffic, piece of technology, this perhaps isn’t for you, but if you prefer to savour the experience of motoring in the 60s, it could be just right. It has its faults: scratched windscreen; no bonnet stiffener or prop; an inconsistent fuel gauge; a choke that you hold out with a clothes peg; a hood that would benefit from some repairs; but overall, it’s a sound, usable car with the bonus of front seat belts.
I’m between Derby and Long Eaton, 10 minutes from M1 J25, and can show it you more or less any time.
I’d like £5000, and I’ll ask for payment by bank transfer.
