Hi
I recently attempted to tow my car and as a result the bumper, together with driver's side front stud mounting broke away from its mounting points taking various bits of metal with it!! :(
Does anyone know if new front studs mountings are available and repair panels for re-mounting?

Any other advice will be gratefully received

Thanks

Liz

I know it's a bit late but in Mechanical under 'Puffing billy' you'll find suggestions of where to attach the rope to tow a minor.

Paulk

Has the entire thing pulled out? or has the end come off?

The entire piece is £14.95 + VAT from ESM: http://shop.morrisminorspares.co.uk/adv ... be&x=0&y=0

But they attach to the lower inner wing and the front of the engine bay floor at the flange where the grille bolts on. If it's 'pulled out' then you might find that those areas need some welding! The bar itself might be OK though.

Oh and towing with the bumper is really not a good idea, but then I think you know that now!

Thanks for the helps.
I've located the neccesary part from 'Bull Motif Spares'.
Welding is needed I'm afraid!
Next time I need towing i'll consider pushing her from behind instead!!!
